- Is the World Economic Crisis the best opportunity ever?
Is the World Economic Crisis and the wildfire that it represents, a vast opportunity for new growth? In Australia, bush fires are an essential part of the ecosystem. In fact, some flora are dependent on fire and the destruction it brings for survival.
Is this the best time in living memory to change design, not just the economics of business?
Or is it best to lay low and button down the hatches until it all blows over? Widfires are dangerous and indiscriminate. Only then we can rebuild what we had and resume business as usual?

This year’s market, put together by the National Design Centre, takes place on Sunday 20 July, 10am-5pm at the Federation Square undercover carpark. Entry is free.
